About Me

I became a psychologist because I have always been passionate about helping others achieve healthier and more meaningful lives. For as long as I can remember, I knew that this was what I wanted to do. This is simply who I am and what feels right for me.

My belief is that everybody is able to make sound decisions and constructive changes to live the life they want. Counselling allows me to offer my support so that people can grow and change. Counselling is an opportunity for people to address whatever is most important to them, and to tap into their inner strength and wisdom to overcome difficulties.
An authentic therapeutic relationship is the foundation for progress. Therefore, I continually strive to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment for my clients. My clients are provided a space where they can feel endorsed, respected, and safe.

Being sensitive to issues of diversity, I am respectful of people’s age, gender, ethnicity, culture, religion, sexual orientation, family composition and socioeconomic status. In other words, I do not make any assumptions. Because every individual is different, it's important to take people’s unique experience into account when establishing a treatment plan.

I can’t think of a better field to work in than psychology. It is very inspiring to witness people’s progress. It’s always new, and it’s deeply rewarding. I feel honored that my clients open up to me and put trust in me to help them with what they are going through in their lives.
